PATH National Partner: London Development Agency
Pan-London Public Sector Employment project
This 3-year initiative is part funded by the London Development Agency (LDA). It will bring together lead sub-regional and regional public sector agencies to increase the employability of individuals for public sector professions, particularly in the health sector.
Project aims
The central aims of the Project are to:
- Achieve economic empowerment of London's socially excluded and disadvantaged BME groups through employment
- Enable London's public sector employers to recruit, retain and develop a highly skilled workforce that draws upon the rich diversity of all of London's residents.
- Develop and disseminate a model of good practice of working in sector wide occupations.
Key London stakeholders in skills, learning and workforce development, such as the LDA (visit their website to find out what other projects the LDA are funding), the Learning and Skills Councils (LSC), and sector employers, such as NHS trusts, are supporting the project.
PATH National is working with a number of public sector employers to deliver traineeship programmes. Click here to find out more.
